By sponsoring the planting and maintenance of trees through the Bridges Plants Trees initiative, you are facilitating reforestation efforts along the Lower Kinabatangan area in Sabah, and supporting the Orang Sungai community. In addition to planting and maintaining the saplings, members of the Orang Sungai community also grow and supply the saplings of over 30 species of trees native to the area.

 

About the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary

The Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Sandakan, Sabah, with large areas dedicated to reforestation efforts. The objective is to grow canopy trees to connect animal populations along the river.
